Privacy Policy

Quantum Finance Lab ("QFL") processes personal data in accordance with Angolan Law no. 22/11 on the Protection of Personal Data, under the supervision of the Data Protection Agency (APD), with article 32 of the Constitution of Angola, and — where applicable to EEA data subjects — with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation 2016/679, GDPR).

2. Data we collect

  • Identification & contact (name, email, phone, organization, country).
  • Professional data (role, sector, interest area).
  • Messages and form submissions.
  • Technical/navigation data (IP, device, pages visited).

3. Purposes & legal basis

  • Handling enquiries and providing consultancy services (contract).
  • Sending the Angola Report and marketing communications (consent).
  • Compliance with legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
  • Fraud prevention and site security (legitimate interest).

4. Sharing & international transfers

We share data with technical service providers under confidentiality. Transfers outside Angola rely on adequate safeguards (art. 33 of Law 22/11; EU Standard Contractual Clauses under GDPR art. 46; OECD Privacy Guidelines).

5. Retention

Data is kept for the period necessary and, at a minimum, for the term required by Angolan tax and accounting law (10 years — Law no. 19/14).

6. Your rights

  • Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability.
  • Withdrawal of consent at any time.
  • Right to lodge a complaint with the APD (Angola) or your local supervisory authority.

7. Security

Appropriate technical and organizational measures (Law 22/11 arts. 27–28; GDPR art. 32).

This policy may be updated; the version in force is the one published on this page.
